Not that I dislike my appearance, but if I'm a 9 then nearly everyone else here would be a 10 by comparison. The point of a scoring system like this is to rank individuals on a scale, if everyone is piled on one side of it then the activity is completely pointless. You might as well rate everyone a 1 and it would mean the same thing.
