[Okay. Well. They used to be friends in the past (or at least this is what Shun had said) so this shouldn't be anything weird, right?

Wrong. He still feels incredibly embarrassed about what he's about to do.]

...Hey. Do you have a moment?

[How does he just go up to someone and hug them anyway.]

[Well, he's certainly not doing anything else right now, and even if he was, it sounds like Yuto has something important to say. So either way, his attention goes to Yuto pretty quickly. No getting out of it now, apparently.]

Obviously. What is it?

[Unfortunately, Yuto's probably not going to get much preparation time, given Shun's focus means he's not likely to be taking his eyes off him anytime soon to give him the chance.]

[Okay, how to go about this? After a moment of internal debate he sighs and steps closer to Shun. And then, before he starts thinking better of this, he just gives Shun a quick awkward hug.

And when he steps away he's not looking at Shun.]

[At the sudden contact, Shun tenses up very slightly, the reflex hard to override, but he doesn't push Yuto away. Though the hug is quick, Shun still looks rather surprised when they part, though he's at least handling it a bit better than Yuto.]

...I'm sure you had a reason for doing that.

[As if he'd be lucky enough for it to be anything memory-related, but he's still curious.]

[Yuto nods.]

...It was a dare.

[He sighs and looks at Shun then.]

Sorry.

[He feels like there is more than one reason why he should apologize now.]

[Yeah, that figures. There had to be at least one of those that was going to make trouble for him.

Still, it's hardly Yuto's fault on any front here, so he just shakes his head dismissively.]

It's fine. I was just surprised.

[Yuto being affectionate in that manner was hardly common, so it had been pretty obvious from the outset something was off. And he hadn't really allowed himself to get his hopes up on the memory thing.]

Did someone seriously go out of their way to ask you to hug me? [He'd almost guess it was Hajime, it sounds like the kind of thing she'd do.]

They did actually.

[But Yuto has no idea who that was. If he were to guess he wouldn't even know who to suspect. He still doesn't know that Shun and Hajime know each other.]

[revolutionfalcon]

[He huffs in annoyance.] I would have said it was Hajime if I thought she wouldn't just come out and say it.

[Also, he's pretty sure Yuto would've mentioned if it was a specific person who made the request. And while he hasn't much been admitting it, Hajime's mostly known what lines not to cross in regards to this situation.]

...You know Hajime?

[Now, that's a surprise. Or maybe it shouldn't be?]

[Well, he supposes it's not all that surprising that she wouldn't have mentioned that to Yuto.]

I met her on my first day here. I didn't realise she was your god at the time until she started listing off all her shinki.

I see... [Pause.] She didn't tell me about that.

[Oh well. Now he knows.]

Knowing her, she probably wanted us to talk to each other and find out ourselves. [Or at the least, she would have used it as an excuse to make them talk to each other. She's seemed pretty invested in their friendship from the point he mentioned it to her.]

[You know her that well already, Shun?

Never mind.]
