My apologies in advance, but I have a dare to fulfill.

[Saïx is not thrilled about his dare, but Axel is one of the few people he has met here that doesn't hate his guts, so at least this will be tolerable for him.

He approaches him and gives him a very awkward hug. He intends for it to be brief.]

[Uh, yeah, that's going to be an awkward hug. Axel gives him the approved bro-hug pat on one shoulder, trying not to, like, actually touch this guy too much. Not like he has a problem with Saix or anything. He seemed nice enough. It's just that Axel doesn't freaking know him, so this is weird.]

Hey, at least it was just hugs, right?

[Oh, he knows exactly how weird this is. But it's much less weird hugging someone he sort of knows than hugging a complete stranger. Or someone who hates him.

After he brief, awkward hug, he steps back.]

[Eyeing Saix thoughtfully. Can he walk off with your boots? Maybe?]

[He looks at Axel,then down at his boots, then up to Axel again.]

I see. Will you return them later?

I just need to collect two different shoes and then I'll have it right back to you. Cross my heart.

I'm not going to stand around waiting for you to return. Bring them back to Odin's temple when you're done.

[He unties his boots, removes them, and hands them over.]

[He picks up the boots, waves in a vague half-salute, and heads off to collect the second pair.

They'll actually show up back on Odin's temple doorstep when he is done, with a thank-you note on top that has an ice-cream coupon tucked into it. Look, he hasn't actually gotten his first paycheck yet. Coupons are free on the counter, though.]
