[Shun had a bit of trouble settling on a third person to complete his dare, because admittedly there's not a great deal of people here he's so close to he'd outright state he'd protect them. But while he might have been trying to keep Hajime at a bit of a distance, he can respect both the effort she's put in on both his and Yuto's behalf and the easy acceptance that he needs his space enough that of the available options, she quickly became the obvious choice.

This isn't the kind of thing he usually states to people's faces. He just does it, and lets people trust that it'll be the case. So when he approaches Hajime, though he's set on this, there's a slight uncertainty about how to handle it.]

[Guess who has her attention the moment he approaches...this guy right here! How could he not? Shun is one of her all time favorite grumpy grump-grumps. He's almost instantly greeted with a smile as well as a two-finger salute.]

Really? Okay, I'm all ears! just tell me loud and clear! What on your mind, Kuroro-san?

[Well. At least he's not having to go to any effort to get her attention, though honestly he probably wouldn't have minded a lack of it in this case. It's hard to find the words for this when he's not in the heat of battle and venting out his feelings about his comrades.

It doesn't help that he can't really gauge how she'll react, either. But it's better to get it over with quickly rather than wondering about it, so with a short breath out, he goes on.]

You've done a lot for Yuto before I came here, and I know you've been trying to help me even if I haven't been accepting it. So I wanted to tell you that if you ever need help yourself, I'll do everything I can to give it. I think you've proved yourself worth that. [Maybe he himself wouldn't use the word friend at this point, but comrade, at least.]

[That wasn't what she was expecting. It's great to hear though. It doesn't seem like Shun to speak about things like this. He seems to go more by action but Hajime really hasn't known him that long so maybe she was wrong. Regardless, her smile widens.]
