[Well, if he's supposed to be asking people to pick him up, embarrassing as it is, he may as well start with someone he knows for a fact can do it. So Shun approaches Yuto looking somewhat annoyed with the whole situation.]

Yuto. I need you to pick me up. [No, he doesn't get an explanation right now.]

[Yuto blinks a few times as he's wondering if he's even heard right.]

Pick you.. up? [Er...] Why?

Some stupid request. I wouldn't be asking if I had a choice. [Game rules, he hates them. At least when they're not card game related.]

[Yuo stares at Shun for a moment longer, before asking:]

...And what if I won't do it?

[He isn't even sure he can pick Shun up. Shun is so much teller than him, after all!]

Then I pick you up. Your choice. [Shun doesn't look any more pleased about this than Yuto does, but at least that guarantees neither of them is going to draw attention to it.]

[He takes a step back.]

What? [Those are seriously the only choices he has?] But how am I even supposed to pick you up? [He gestures vaguely at Shun.] You're taller than me.

[Crossing his arms, Shun responds with a level frown.]

Why does that make any difference? Obviously you think you're strong enough to do it if that's your reason. [He knows Yuto is for a fact, but it'd probably be a little too risky to openly say that, especially when the network post from a few days ago means he now knows what sharing a shinki's past with them invites.]

It makes a difference, because I have no idea how to pick you up. [What is he supposed to do? Throw him over his shoulder? That would be awkward as hell.

He lets a frustrated sigh.] And no, I have no idea if I'm even strong enough.

Like you'd pick anyone else up. You just have to adjust a little for someone taller. [It really doesn't seem that complicated to him, but his frown becomes rather less annoyed at the mention of Yuto not actually knowing if he's strong enough.]

Then try it and find out. Avoiding it isn't going to answer the question.

[Yuto, on the other hand, looks annoyed now.]

I'm not avoiding anything. You sound like it's actually something important.

It's not important, but you're wasting both our time by not trusting in your own ability. [It's hard not to be a little critical when he knows Yuto can do it. Besides, he should know as much as anyone that it's not just a matter of turning things down with this.]

Because I wanted someone who wasn't going to make some ridiculous fuss about me asking the question. You just said yourself it's not important, so if you're that unsure then let me do it and we can both get on with things that actually are.

[He's got to go with somebody who's young and short enough that he's got a chance of actually picking them up, and who also probably won't mind: the pickings are kind of slim.

Yuto's on the short list. Tsuzuki grins sheepishly at him, rubbing a hand over the back of his neck.]

... Can you look that way for a minute?

[He points vaguely over Yuto's shoulder.]

[Yuto already has a bad feeling about this, but he doesn't want to be suspicious towards his own friends, so... after a minute he actually turns to look in the direction Tsuzuki is pointing.

How much is he going to regret this?]

This is a dare don't worry I won't drop you!

[He says it all on one breath, sweeping Yuto up into his arms and heaving him up with an effort. It's like throwing him in the air! Maybe an inch into the air as Tsuzuki straightens. Maybe half an inch? He's not much heavier than Hisoka is -- was -- is, so it's an effort but not an impossible one.]

[Yuto lets a small surprised noise when Tsuzuki picks him up. It looks like he was right about having a bad feeling, but he never would have thought it would be something like this.]

You should have told me before you did this.

[A warning would have been nice! Even if it wouldn't have changed anything anyway.]

...Can you let go of me now?

[...Yuto isn't happy now.]

Sorry, sorry! [Tsuzuki's carefully putting him back down and taking a step back. He laughs, embarrassed, and holds both of his hands up in a shrug.]

See, part of the dare was I had to sneak up on you, but I didn't want to really sneak up on anybody and grab them....

[Yuto looks at him for a moment, then closes his eyes and shrugs in a way that clearly says "you're forgiven".]

Those dares are ridiculous.

[But he's not blaming Tsuzuki for anything.]

[Phew. At least Tsuzuki didn't drop him! So, no harm done. Right? Probably.]
