I look forward to seeing whether Maria and Hibiki ever end up performing together or if the relationship shifts to "rivals". Hibiki is surprisingly decent about being a rival if she respects the other person, if you can count "I gave you a present to help you enhance your abilities because completely wiping the floor with you would be too dull" as "surprisingly decent".

Once Vrains is over they need to make the next iteration of YGO about CARD GAMES WHILE SINGING. Who cares if Vanguard already has idol characters. I would buy an entire CD of people singing their duels instead of yeling them.

Rivals would be interesting, though performing together would be cool to see happen too (presumably in a non-idol-wars context since with Sheryl gone Maria's pretty much the backbone of Sparkle Motion now). Also, that sounds like pretty standard shonen rival "surprisingly decent" behaviour...

WELL I mean if any show was going to pull off card games while singing, Vanguard should've done it with how good some of their character songs are tbh. I would totally watch idol card games: the series, though.

There's nothing saying performing together couldn't be the competition, down the line. They duet and then the audience votes on who gave the best performance, etc. Or something.

....it occurs to me that Weiß Schwarz does have that Symphogear expansion. One can actually play idol card games.

TRUE I remember seeing those Kanade cards the other day. Also Vanguard does have the Bermuda Triangle clan which is mermaid idols and Yu-Gi-Oh arguably has Melodious, not quite idols but they do sing. So lots of idol card games if you think about it.
