[Davesprite is an even more literal person to be tangled with than most, given his tail is kind of awkwardly cramped around Homura's legs. His wings are the bigger personal nightmare, though - they're squashed up hard against the sides of the box to the point he can barely move them.

Unsurprisingly, Davesprite does not look terribly pleased about this development either.]

I mean, I'd suggest either shooting or grenading the box if the most likely outcome didn't look like both of us twice dead and a still standing box.

[If there's one situation that really doesn't do much for Maria's air of grace and beauty, it's being crammed into a tiny space with another person.

She's being as considerate as she can about it, trying to get her high heels somewhere they aren't digging into either of them, and keeping her skirt tucked between her legs, but it's still incredibly uncomfortable, and she thumps a fist against the side of the box in frustration.]

I'm sorry about this. [It's clearly not her fault, but the situation in general is one she feels bears apologising for.]

Any time in your presence - [ Oomph. Hibiki has been trying to get her legs up into a position where she can push against the side of the box, hoping to strain it to the breaking point, but has mostly just managed to slide down into an uncomfortable position. She struggles to right herself. ] - passes as sweetly as a songbird's cry.

[If there's a god of boxes in these heavens, Shun is going to maim them as soon as he gets out of here.

Granted, of all the people to be squished into a box with, Ren at least has the advantage of being someone he actually trusts to be in quarters that close with him. On the other hand, it doesn't make trying to contort around him any more of a pleasant experience, and given Shun's already running his hands over the inside of the box to try and find any structural weaknesses, there's definitely going to be some more contorting happening soon enough.

It speaks to the general bizarreness level of this place that Shun looks more exasperated than outright angry about this, and his tone is remarkably neutral despite what he actually says.]

If these things burn, I'm setting fire to the next one I see. [He still needs some catharsis, though.]

[The upside to this is that it's Shun, and Shun is resourceful and stubborn and probably the first person he would pick to be stuck for who knows how long in a tiny box like this. The downside is that with Shun that close and already moving around, it's really hard to concentrate on feeling around the box for a way to get out.

Or to want to, frankly. He wouldn't actually mind just staying put until they're found or the magic wears off on its own. Maybe they could take a nap.

But Shun isn't going to back down that easily, so he might as well help feel around too.]

You mean you haven't had enough of fires to last a lifetime? [Ren lets out a short laugh and leans his head against Shun's shoulder as he feels around behind him.] It's too bad I can't just light it on fire from the inside anymore...

[Hi Ren. Long time no see. Though, he's never excepted that the next time he sees you again, you'll be both trapped in a small box, squished together. It's not funny, it's not comfortable and Yuto is frowning into forever now. He moves his hand against the closest wall, trying to find an exit (there has to be one!), but to no avail.

He sighs.]

Do you know how we even got here?

[It really is cramped in here...at least if he has to be stuck in here with someone, it's someone he knows and likes. He'd honestly feel more awkward about being squished together with someone he'd never met before. Still, it doesn't make it any more comfortable.]

No. [He frowns a little himself as he feels around the roof of the box.] it doesn't even feel like there is a way to get in...

[So Yuto has apparently lost the lottery of people to get stuck in a box with, because there is a certain extremely agitated bird god squished into this tiny space with him.

Shun, for his part, looks like he's about ready to start climbing the walls of the box if it would let him tear them down, but being crammed in like this really doesn't lend itself to him being able to do any real damage to the container.

Like hell he isn't going to try, though, and in very short order, he drives a fist past Yuto's head and into the wall of the box behind him. The box doesn't appear interested in giving that easily, though, and Shun lets out a frustrated hiss.]

Who the hell makes boxes that won't open? [Kind of defeats the purpose of a box.]

[Yuto moves his head away when Shun punches the wall, then sends him a small glare.]

There has to be a way out of here... [How else they would end up here if there wasn't?] ...But calm down first.

[Even without Shun moving around, it's already awkward and uncomfortable here with their bodies pressed way too close to each other.]
